A $5 million bond has been set for Richard Lewis, the security guard charged with killing fellow guard James Redman at Main Event in Cordova. The incident occurred after an argument between the two men, reportedly over a metal detector.

During the court hearing on August 8, prosecutors presented video footage showing Lewis shooting Redman at close range. According to the police, the confrontation happened just 10 minutes before the fatal shooting.

Lewis now faces a first-degree murder charge and remains in custody as the case moves forward.
