A security guard was tragically shot and killed early Monday morning at a cannabis dispensary in East Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the 6100 block of Whittier Boulevard.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the scene, where the victim was pronounced dead. Authorities are still investigating whether the shooting was related to a robbery or burglary. The search for a suspect is ongoing.
