In a tragic incident at the Houston Zoo parking lot, a mother of four was shot in the head by a security guard, sparking demands for justice as charges remain pending.

The incident occurred during Spring Break when a security guard allegedly fired into the woman’s car, claiming she tried to run him over. However, Diamond Hunter, the victim, denies these allegations.

According to Hunter, the confrontation began when she and another driver vied for the same parking spot. Tensions escalated when the guard reportedly struck one of Hunter’s children, prompting her to react defensively.

Despite Hunter notifying security of her intention to move her car, the situation escalated. Security guards then allegedly discharged their firearms into Hunter’s vehicle, causing severe injuries including a traumatic brain injury and ongoing PTSD.

The incident has raised significant concerns, with Hunter and her legal team emphasizing that the use of deadly force was unjustified, particularly with four children present in the car.
