An additional two (2) or three (3) members from the general Security Services Community may be added at the discretion of the Awards Committee Chair. The Committee will consider all nominations against the relevant criteria and recommend the security officer who should be considered for the Ralph Day Memorial Security Officer Heroism Award, along with those for honorable mention; however, no more than two honorable mentions will be recommended.  The Security Services Community Chair or the Awards Chair will notify the recipient and honorable mentions. Notifications to non-selected nominees will be issued via the online awards management platform.
