Firm to Continue Longstanding Support of Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers
May 12, 2025 — The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded a $72 million contract to Chenega Naswik International (CNI), a subsidiary of the Alaska Native-owned Chenega Corporation, to provide security and administrative services to its Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC).
Under the terms of the agreement, CNI will deliver enterprise-level protective services across four key DHS training sites:
- Glynco, Georgia
- Artesia, New Mexico
- Charleston, South Carolina
- Cheltenham, Maryland

The contract spans a four-year period and marks CNI’s third consecutive award supporting the FLETC mission, extending a partnership that began in 2008.
“This is a testament to our team’s proven capability and reliability in delivering enforcement and asset protection services to DHS,” said David Pine, President of Chenega Naswik International.
Part of a Broader Federal Security Portfolio
This new DHS contract is one of several recent federal security wins for Chenega Corporation subsidiaries.
In March 2025, CNI was awarded a $6 million five-year contract to provide security administration and access control for Special Operations Command South, with work at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida.
In December 2024, CNI received a $10.5 million contract from the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) to provide trained security personnel at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
In October 2023, another Chenega subsidiary, Chenega Integrated Security Solutions, won a $47 million blanket purchase agreement from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for armed and unarmed security force services at SEC headquarters and regional offices.
These contracts reflect Chenega’s expanding footprint across multiple defense, intelligence, and civilian agency missions, delivering services that range from armed patrol and access control to emergency response and security management.
Supporting DHS and National Law Enforcement
The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers, under DHS, are responsible for preparing tens of thousands of federal, state, and local law enforcement officers annually. The training centers provide instruction in areas such as criminal investigation, cybercrime, border enforcement, and emergency response.
With this award, Chenega Naswik International will continue to support the safety and operational readiness of FLETC facilities and trainees through integrated guard force services and administrative support.
