DSI Security Services has announced the appointment of William “Will” Morris as its new general counsel. Morris brings extensive legal expertise to his role, where he will oversee legal matters affecting the company and contribute to its continued growth.
Background and Education
A Dothan, Alabama native, Morris developed a strong interest in law early in life. He attended Auburn University, earning a degree in political science with minors in history and criminology. During his time at Auburn, Morris was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and was recognized in Who’s Who Among American University and College Students.
He furthered his legal education at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he participated in the Alabama Law Review and the James A. Campbell Moot Court Board. Morris also gained practical legal experience working as a law clerk for the Alabama Attorney General’s Office and provided free legal services to underserved communities through the school’s Civil Clinic.
Legal Experience and Achievements
After passing the bar, Morris joined the law firm of Morris, Andrews, Talmadge & Driggers, LLC, where he worked as an associate attorney. His practice included handling premises liability, workers’ compensation, and general negligence cases. Morris is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and Georgia.
Morris is also a member of both the Houston County Bar Association and the Alabama Bar Association, solidifying his standing within the legal community.
