Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, has announced the launch of its new Enhanced Protection Services business unit, aimed at providing comprehensive security solutions for high-consequence threat mitigation. This new unit integrates specialized services to address every stage of the risk cycle, offering solutions from planning and surveillance to execution and completion.
The Enhanced Protection Services unit will focus on providing advanced security for both government agencies and commercial entities worldwide. The unit combines several of Allied Universal’s specialized services, including firearm and explosive detection canine teams, executive protection, risk advisory and consulting, intelligence services, disaster and emergency response, and the use of SmartTech screening technology.

Enhanced Protection Services
This new division, led by President Glen Kucera, will play a critical role in the modern security landscape, where high-consequence threats are increasingly dynamic. The unit’s comprehensive capabilities include:

- Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives screening
- Executive protection and countersurveillance services

The Enhanced Protection Services team consists of 17,000 specialized security experts and the world’s largest private sector team of more than 3,000 firearm and explosive detection canines. The team is built on decades of experience from elite law enforcement, military backgrounds, corporate security, and consulting firms. They are equipped to design tailored security programs that safeguard life safety and business continuity while delivering peace of mind to clients.
